더욱 예쁘게, 더욱 아름답게 빚어내려 할수록 더욱 만족과 멀어지는 고민 끝에, 고민의 과정 자체를 형태로 나타낸 트레이입니다. 완성도를 높여가는 과정에서 실수가 있었던 부분도, 고민의 흔적도 모두 형태에 담겨 오히려 다양한 이야기가 담긴 형태의 트레이가 탄생하게 되었습니다. 보는 각도, 시선에 따라 형태가 달라 늘 새로운 느낌을 주며 반지, 목걸이 등 간단한 액세서리를 보관하기에 유용한 트레이입니다.

Ugly Tray is a handmade ceramic tray, which is the second ‘Ugly’ series of Positiv. Ugly Tray includes all the traces of touch and the failures the designer encountered during the production. As the more he tries to make it beautiful and perfect, the further it was away from his satisfaction, he decided to make an object that has dialogues and natural details/flaws. This adorable tray presents a true beauty and charm from its imperfections. The shape and gloss of the tray changes as viewed from different angles, giving a new feeling all the time.
